There are only a very few well-known landmarks in London where you can take a selfie that would serve as a proof that you had been to London, once the seat of world power, long before America became one.

That’s the Stonehenge’s photograph. I think the majority of the readers of this blog post would be disappointed seeing this included as one of the famous tourist attractions in the world. Nevertheless, it still attracts the majority of the first-time overseas visitors to the U.K. It is a must-see attraction that is located (Wiltshire ) about 140 km from the heart of London.

These rock pillars (short pillar-like structures) belong to the pre-historic area; the Neolithic era to be exact.

Even though the Stonehenge is not attractive to the majority of the people, it is still considered as a must-see place in England. Remember, there is nothing else in Stonehenge but these rock pillars; no rides or rollercoaster.

There is one solace though that I can suggest to the visitors of Stonehenge. If they are disappointed, then, they can visit the Salisbury Cathedral nearby.

See, you can feel the power of water without touching it! It’s incredible and awesome. The majestic ‘Niagara falls’ in full flow is simply breathtaking and one of the world’s famous tourist attractions.

Not only the first-time foreign holiday visitors but it would attract everyone as many times as possible. You would never feel, “I have had enough of Niagara waterfalls”. The three Niagara waterfalls are fed by the River Niagara.

Next only to Paris, Rome is the most famous city in the world and a big favorite among travelers.
