Food bloggers are dime a dozen; 90% of them blog about recipes. Only 10% of the foodies write about unique foods and ice creams that they have tasted in restaurants and ice cream parlors in their country and elsewhere. In this blog post, let us pay a visit to some of the restaurant that offer unique foods at cheap prices. I cover restaurants only in the East Coast of the United States.

I urge you to make a note of these cheap restaurants and pass it on to your friends and family members. You would be doing a big help. We all tend to be careless while traveling when it comes to spending on food.

As soon as we land in a city, we visit expensive restaurants because of our wallet will be begging us to reduce its weight. Before we realize, we will start looking for restaurants that offer good food cheaply.

White Manna restaurant, New Jersey

I have chosen White Manna restaurant because they make a good cheeseburger and I am a big cheeseburger buff. It costs just $1.20

White Manna is an exclusive burger outlet. People love the burgers and sliders too (sandwich is called as sliders in the U.S.) served at this outlet.

All the reviews of this burger and slider joint were positive about the quality of the food and all were unanimous about its cheap price.

Libby’s Restaurant Delaware

For the best of homely breakfast and lunch served from 6 am to 1 pm, you should visit this restaurant.

Thai Thani Restaurant, Orlando, Florida

Since Orlando is the most visited city in Florida, I have chosen a restaurant in that city. In Thai Thani restaurant, you get very authentic Thai food for $7.

The specialty of this Thai restaurant is a shrimp soup called  ‘tom yum goong’ soup and fried calamari which is otherwise known as ‘Squid’.

The Varsity, Atlanta, Georgia

For 5 pieces of Chicken nugget (I think it will be filling), you pay only $2.49 at the Varsity. It has been in business for a long time and serves exclusive American food such hotdogs, fries, and burgers. It’s a chain of restaurants and operates in many locations in Atlanta.

Baltimore’s Beef Barons, Baltimore, Maryland

The American’s favorite Hot Dogs are sold at just $1.50 here. I also happened to read about Oyster fry here but I could not find it on their menu.

Functioning since 1975, the Beef Barons (good name) justifying its name serves beef cooked in an open pit filled with charcoal and sells for only $7. Look at this beef cooking image here:

Another notable dish is the Pork Country Sausage for only $4. Hey mate! It’s a ‘gluten-free’ meat!

Maria’s Pastry, Boston, Massachusetts

If I ever go to Boston which is very likely as I have relatives there, my first stop to eat will be this family-run bakery because I am a big lover pastries, cakes, and bread. Maria’s pastry outlet sells only homemade and authentic Italian pastries. The price range is $3 to $4.50 only.

Please go through some of the mouth-watering pastries sold here:

• Cannoli  made of ricotta cheese, cinnamon, kosher salt and flour
• Aragosta (a kind of lobster dish)
• Sfogliatelle (shaped like layered shell and filled with semolina and ricotta cheese)
• Zuccherati ( a doughnut cake filled with vanilla cream)
• Osse di Morti ( It is almond cookies eaten only on November 2^nd, the All Souls Day. It’s another name is “Bones of the Dead”)

Ahimsa, the South Indian Vegetarian restaurant, New York

Very aptly named for a vegetarian restaurant, it serves most of the Indian fast food delicacies such as aloo chat, dahi papdi chaat, samosa and of course the most popular malai kofta.

Sunrise Bistro Express, Charleston, South Carolina

For less than $10, you can buy a whole meal that includes, ham and eggs, cheese and bacon and tomatoes and onions. You get homemade food at this joint. It’s very casual place to go and dine and still pay less.

City Diner, Richmond, Virginia

For a sumptuous breakfast, you pay only $4.75. The breakfast plate is brimming with food that includes toasts and a pair of eggs, meat and a large pot of coffee that you may not drink it completely.
