Two days before only, I came to know about Disney Cruises and their proposed round trip cruise. They are going to introduce a new cruise route starting from Italy

Starting in June 2019, Disney Cruises will be launching a round trip cruise route. The boarding point will be Civitavecchia near Rome, Italy. Reading further, I read the ports of call would be:

  • Italy
  • France
  • Spain.

I thought that would be an interesting cruise, covering two countries of historical importance and one would be famous for entertainment. I foresee a big positive response from seafarers when they know the names of cities and towns they would be visiting during the new Italian cruise.

How about these for samples for Cruises?

  • Salerno-Italy’s Amalfi CoastCruise Destination Amalfi Coast
  • La Spezia- Cinque TerreDisney Cruises
  • Villefranche-sur-MerCruise to Villefranche-sur-Mer
  • Marseilles-French Riviera Disney Cruises
  • Barcelona-Spain.

The luxury vessel for this upcoming cruise is too big to visualize. The full list of luxuries and amenities are not yet published but this much I came to know that the cruise ship is a 10 story structure and there will be as many as 20 restaurants. I wonder how many exclusive bars will serve the passengers and crew.

This Disney Cruises is going to be the world’s largest cruise ship for sure.

I know you love sailing around the world and that’s why you are reading this blog post. For your information, the Disney Cruises is planning to launch many more new cruises in the next 12 months. Some of the new cruise routes are:

  • Cartagena-Spain
  • Toulon, Provence, Brest-France
  • Belfast-Ireland;
  • Gothenburg, Nynashamn-Sweden;
  • Fredericia-Denmark,

I am familiar with the seas of Spain and France but the cruise grounds in Sweden, Ireland, and Denmark are new to me. I intend to find out the complete travel itinerary of them along with the ports of call and the inland attractions.

As I delved deep into the website of Disney Cruises, I came to know that they are already operating luxury cruise packages to Alaska, Caribbean Islands, and the romantic Bahamas.

Coming back to the Rome based cruise that covers France and Spain, if you are interested in booking your cabin in the cruise ship, you better note down the attractions to see on the counties of your visit, the unique local food, and drinks that you should not forget to try and what souvenirs you should buy in every place of docking.

Here are few landmarks you must able to see during your round trip cruise in Disney Cruises ship:

Rome, Italy

  • Colosseum
  • Vatican
  • Trevi Fountain

Barcelona, Spain

  • Montjuïc mountain Barcelona
  • La Boqueria food street
  • La Sagrada Familia
  • Las Ramblas

Marseilles, France

  • Notre-Dame de la Garde (church)
  • Boat ride in Les Calanques
  • Palais Longchamp museum

The above list of attractions in Italy, Spain, and France is just a sample. Based on your duration of stay in each port, you can do many more memorable things.

Of course, you have more than a year to start cruising the Mediterranean and the Tyrrhenian Sea. Till then, you can prepare your full list of attractions and activities in the three countries that your cruise will anchor.
