Surprisingly, I was not able to find many (more than 10) accommodations in Athens that are listed in airbnb.com However, after much digging around, I came across one that I liked it. I am sure you too will like. Since there is no name for this Airbnb property, I have given a link to this listing.

The room is part of an apartment. It is located on the 5th floor of the building that is found in Koukaki area which is also near the Acropolis. If you take a metro from the Athens’s airport, get down at Syggrou-Fix metro station and walk for about 10 minutes to reach this Airbnb property.

From this place, you can easily locate bars, cafes, and restaurants but still away from dust and noise of the city.
