Wailua waterfalls

Of so many natural attractions in the world, if you ask me which one draws more number of visitors, I would say Waterfalls or any water bodies that include oceans, lakes, and rivers.

Waterfalls wherever they appear to convert the whole area within its vicinity a tourist attraction. First, restaurants come up and as the crowd gets bigger, lodges spring up followed by gift shops. Self-appointed guides start earning a livelihood. Thus, the entire area surrounding a waterfall becomes a beehive of tourist activity and a village is born out of a remote area.

The taller the waterfall is, the more number of tourists they attract because of the thunderous sound it creates and the mist that enshrouds the surroundings. By ‘tall’ I mean the length of the vertical drop of the water from its origin. In this blog post, we will visit some of the tallest waterfalls in the world.

The waterfalls are not arranged in any order but only randomly.
